We deliver a complete service where we will plan your trip and organise all the logistics. This allows us to then coach and guide you on the trip, allowing you to enjoy the journey while we deal with the stressful stuff.

Alternatively you could hire one of our coaches to advise and support you on the trip that you have planned. They can help make the trip run smoother and give guidance when needed.

We offer this service as a tailor made option for you and your group. After some discussion together we will come up with the best package for you. We can advise on the options dependant on how much time you have and what kind of experience you want.

Classic Great Glen Expedition

Cross Scotland from Fort William to Inverness. This trip takes in some of the finest scenery in the Highlands starting at the foot of Ben Nevis and journeying through canals, rivers and Scotland's largest loch, Loch Ness.

Loch Tay and River Tay

The River Tay flows out of the sixth largest loch in Scotland .It offers great canoe paddling at around grade two. There is the opportunity to use a wide range of skills to journey from Loch Tay to Perth so 75 km down river.

Below is a sample itinerary put together for a group of sea paddlers from the Isle of Man who wanted a canoe expedition in Scotland.

Day one

Meet and sort logistics. Decide which way round to go
Travel to either Inverness or Fortwilliam
Shuttle, packing and getting boats ready
Shop for food if necessary in Tesco in Glasgow or elsewhere
Perhaps start the trip if not start early next morning

Day 2-5
Journey to other end wild camping or using some campsites as appropriate.

Hopefully paddling some grade 2 rivers.
Sailing with the wind on big lochs
Some portaging of locks
Wild camping and general sitting around fires talking rubbish and drinking stuff

Day 6
Short last stretch of whatever river, perhaps with empty canoes.
Early evening return to Cumbria and de-kit for a ferry either late that night or next morning.
